Our pricing model aims to find a balance that enables both a fast sales time and the best possible sales revenue. Mjuk only receives a commission when the furniture is successfully sold.

By selling through Mjuk, you earn 60% of the net sale price up to €700, and 70% of the amount exceeding €700, excluding any pick-up fees if you choose pick-up for your furniture.

The pick-up fee depends on the size category of the furniture: small items €15, medium-sized items €45, and large items €69. Small items are always carryable by one person, whereas large items always require two carriers. Medium-sized items fall between these categories. If you deliver the furniture yourself, the pick-up fee is fully deducted from Mjuk’s share, and you earn the full 60–70% of the net sale price. Pick-up fees are only deducted from the sales revenue, so you do not pay for pick-up separately.

An 11.9% (VAT included) transaction, storage, and insurance fee has been added to the prices shown in the webshop. The price estimate is always given based on the net price of the furniture and the transaction fee does not affect the seller’s proceeds. Of course, you don’t pay anything if, for some reason, your furniture does not get sold, since Mjuk only takes its share from successful sales.

#### What is the estimate based on?

The preliminary sale price is estimated based on the condition, age, brand, market price, and demand of the furniture. We also closely monitor specific click counts on our website to determine which types of furniture attract the most interest.

Furniture is always listed for sale at or above the estimated price, except in cases where inspection shows that the furniture is in considerably worse condition than was indicated by the seller’s information.

We always strive to get the best possible price for the items, but the price may be gradually lowered if the furniture does not find a new home at the higher price.

If the condition rating of the product does not decrease during quality inspection, Mjuk will keep the sale price on the website at the estimated price for at least one and a half months, or, correspondingly, at least 9 weeks for premium products.

#### Is there a floor price for the item being sold?

Our service is designed so that Mjuk is always in the same boat with the seller. We want the items to sell quickly, but you also get a good price for your furniture.

After publishing the product, Mjuk actively monitors the demand and click rates of specific furniture and may gradually lower the price if the furniture does not sell despite active marketing.

For premium products, the floor price is at most 30% lower than the lower limit of the original price estimate range. Premium products mainly include internationally recognized or unique vintage or design furniture.

Other products with a high resale value may also receive premium classification on a case-by-case basis. Mjuk always notifies the seller separately if the furniture is classified as a premium product.

Mjuk reserves the right, for special situations, to lower the sale price of regular furniture by up to 70% from the original estimate’s lower bound during the process. However, the price is never lowered this far unless the furniture’s condition was significantly worse than expected or it has remained unsold despite active marketing for more than six months.

Seneh rugs are easily recognisable by their knotting method, as well as the pattern colours and wool used. They usually have a simple weft, and the back of the rugs is often coarse and grainy, as the wool is spun tightly by hand before the knotting. Seneh wool is among the best qualities of Persian wool: firm and durable with a deep glow. In the 19th century, Seneh rugs were famous for their fineness and the variation in patterns. The typical Seneh rug has a Herati pattern field, with a series of geometrical medallions, one inside the other, each repeating the pattern with a different ground colour.

Nomadic tribes in Turkmenistan are known for crafting Torkaman wool rugs—short-pile, hand-knotted rugs characterised by bold borders and a restrained colour palette of deep reds, blacks, and natural whites. Their detailed geometric patterns often symbolise elements of nomadic life, including animals, plants, and stars. Well-known Torkaman styles include Basjir, Salor, Tekke, Tjaudor, and Yomut.

As seller, you receive 60% of net sales price up to €700 and 70% of the amount exceeding €700, excluding pick-up fees. Pick-up fees depend on furniture size and are deducted only if item sells within 8 months. Sales revenue is calculated after deducting 11.9% handling, storage, and insurance fees.

We assess commission per item. As a seller, you keep on average 60-70% of successful sales.

Evaluation is based on data from 20,000+ prior sales, including condition, market price, and demand.

The higher your furniture is valued, the larger your share—up to 85%. You may be offered less if your item is valued low.

GUBIs Tynell A1967 pendant lamp is part of a series of lamps designed by Paavo Tynell, which are characterised by their conical shades and beautiful natural materials. The A1967 lamp has a lightly translucent fabric shade and a diffuser underneath that makes the downward light even and soft. The A1967 is a timeless design classic and an elegant detail in any room of the home. Thanks to the counterweight-operated lift mechanism, the height of the lamp is easy to adjust. Designed by Tynell in 1950, this pendant lamp was originally produced by Oy Taito Ab in the 1950s and has been reissued as part of GUBIs Tynell collection.
