The 111 Navy Chair is made from recycled Coca-Cola bottles — each chair is crafted using 111 recycled PET bottles, reinforced with fiberglass for added strength and durability. The original 1006 model was created at the request of the U.S. Navy, who needed a chair capable of withstanding harsh marine conditions — a challenge that led to the choice of aluminum as its primary material.
